Altair Introduces Advanced Scheduling Features with PBS Professional™ 9.2

Eligible time, tunable formula and standing reservations help customers achieve higher ROI TROY, MI (May 20, 2008) - Altair announced today the release of PBS Professional 9.2, the leading on-demand computing software for cluster and grid computing, by introducing three key new features: eligible time, tunable formula and standing reservations for more powerful scheduling capabilities. The addition of these advanced features to PBS Professional will help customers increase software utilization and ROI, and help improve overall productivity by automating many advanced operations.
