Altair Announces 8th European Altair Technology Conference in Paris, France

Event will highlight strategies and examples of enterprise simulation methods in the development of innovative products TROY, Mich. Dec. 10, 2014 – Altair today announced that it will host the 2015 European Altair Technology Conference from Sept. 29 - Oct.1, 2015 at Cité Des Sciences & de l’Industrie in Paris, France. The 8th European ATC will cover the complete spectrum of Altair offerings and customer presentations, from the application of simulation and optimization technology to partner solutions and high-performance and cloud computing, highlighting the latest trends and developments in these domain areas.

Altair customers and subject matter experts will showcase cutting-edge methods, applications, and examples spanning multiple industries. Presenting at the European ATC provides a unique opportunity to talk to a large engineering audience and discuss innovative work with one's peers. Customers interested in speaking at the conference are invited to submit their abstracts to the organizational team, with a submission deadline of May 18, 2015.

The three-day event will be packed with highlights and technical information. On day one, Altair will offer workshops on different simulation related topics and host the second European Altair roundtable discussion "The Next Big Idea", which will, after this year's success, again provide a platform for industry experts, thought leaders and the press to discuss contemporary industry topics. The following days will be dedicated to the traditional conference program with several renowned keynote presenters and in-depth technical presentations.

Altair will again offer an “Academic & Industry CAE Collaboration Day”, a session dedicated to education, research, and collaboration between universities and industry. The capstone of the event will be an informative and valuable exhibition in which Altair's technology partners will present their solutions.

“I’m very pleased to return to Paris for the 2015 edition of the European ATC,” said Dr. Detlef Schneider, Senior Vice President EMEA, Altair. “Paris is the logical location for all of our French and many of our European customers. I'm confident that this event will attract a broad and international audience from all over Europe and beyond. After our successful 2014 conference in Munich, Germany, with close to 100 customer presentations and over 600 attendees from many different industries, I look forward to another inspiring agenda next year.”

Altair invites submission of presentation abstracts via www.altairatc.com/EATC2015 or an email to eatcpresentations@altair.com.
